On the first visit,
plan to spend 30-60 minutes in the office. Future visits will
normally be 10 minutes.
-
First you will fill
out an information sheet detailing your health history to be
used to formulate your care program.
-
You will meet with a
doctor who will review your health history and determine if
you are a chiropractic case. A thorough chiropractic
examination will be performed to determine causes of your
health concern. Necessary radiographs (low radiation x-rays)
and other diagnostic tests may be taken to visualize the
location of any spinal problems, and make your chiropractic
care more precise.
-
Before proper care
can be rendered the doctor will study your examination
findings. Later, upon starting care you'll see your X-rays,
review the doctor's findings, and get his specific care
recommendations.
